Common questions
I take walk-ins only. Is this any use to me?
Yes. Your logbook becomes a screen your whole team can see. Every patient you enter gets a WhatsApp confirmation, and a Google review request after the visit. A paper register cannot do either. The booking link is there when you want it. You do not have to use it.
How do I add a walk-in patient?
Name, number, slot. Two taps from the dashboard on your phone or the front-desk computer. They land in the same queue as the online bookings, in the order they'll actually be seen.
Can I reserve tokens for walk-in patients?
Yes. Block the slots you keep for walk-ins. Patients booking online will not be offered them. Those slots stay open for the people who turn up.
Does the walk-in patient get a WhatsApp confirmation too?
Yes. The same confirmation, from the same number. It does not matter whether the booking came from your link, a phone call or the front desk. Reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before are on the Business plan.
My staff already writes this in a register. Why change?
Because the register cannot tell you a slot is already taken. It cannot send the confirmation. It cannot ask for the review. Your staff types the booking once, in one place, and does not touch it again.
Can I put the queue on a screen in the waiting room?
Yes, on the Business plan. It's a web page you open on a tablet or a TV and leave running — it shows the token being served and updates the moment you mark a visit done. No token machine to buy.
Can front-desk staff add bookings for any doctor?
Yes. On Business, staff see every doctor's queue and can add a patient to any of them from one screen.
