What is OPD management software?
Software that runs the outpatient day. Who is booked. Who has walked in. What order they will be seen in. Which token is being seen now. Can it handle walk-ins as well as booked appointments?
That is the main thing it does. Your staff types in the walk-in. Name, number, time. They join the same list as everyone who booked online, with a token number and the same WhatsApp confirmation. Most OPDs are mostly walk-in. Software that ignores that is useless on day one.
Does it give patients a token number?
Yes. Everyone in the list gets one, however they arrived. On the Business plan you can also put the list on a screen in the waiting room. It shows the token being seen now. The patient's confirmation also carries a link to their own place in the line.
Do I need a token machine or a display board?
No hardware to buy. The waiting-room display is a web page — open it on a spare tablet, a laptop or a TV with a browser and leave it running. It updates the moment a visit is marked done.
Can several doctors run their OPD at once?
Yes, on the Business plan. Each doctor has their own schedule and their own queue, front-desk staff can add a patient to any of them from one screen, and each doctor sees only their own list.
Is this OPD registration for a government hospital?
