The honest bit

What this doesn't do

The calendar doesn't inherit your site's fonts and colours — it's a booking page in a frame, not a themed widget, and on a heavily designed site it will read as a distinct panel. It also only captures the patients who are already on your website. Most clinics get more bookings from the link on their Google Business Profile than from their own site, so put it in both places rather than treating the embed as the whole plan.

Common questions

How do I add a booking calendar to my website?

Copy the iframe snippet from the Embed tab in your FormAlert dashboard and paste it into any page of your site. It works anywhere you can paste HTML — a WordPress block, a Wix embed element, a Squarespace code block, or a plain HTML file.

Do I need a plugin?

No, and that's the point. A plugin is one more thing to update, one more thing to break when your theme changes, and one more thing with access to your site. This is an iframe.

Will it match my website's design?

It carries your clinic's name and your services, and sits in a rounded frame that reads as part of the page. It doesn't inherit your site's fonts and colours — it's a self-contained booking page in a window, not a themed widget.

Does the embedded calendar show the same slots as my booking link?

The same slots, from the same schedule. Something booked through the embed closes that slot everywhere else instantly, including for walk-ins your staff is about to type in.

Can I set the height?

Yes — change the height value in the snippet. 720px suits most clinics; a practice with many services may want more so patients don't scroll inside the frame.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The width is set to 100%, so it fits whatever container it's dropped into, and the booking flow inside is built mobile-first — which is where nearly all patient bookings come from.
