The sync is Google Calendar only. Outlook and Apple Calendar are not connected today. With those you would block the time inside FormAlert instead. It can also only work with what you write down. A delay nobody put in a calendar is still a delay. If you often run late, the waiting-room queue display does more for you than the calendar does.

Does FormAlert sync with Google Calendar?
Both ways. Confirmed appointments appear on your Google Calendar within seconds, and existing events on that calendar block those times from being booked on your page.
What if a patient books when I'm not available?
They cannot, as long as it is in the calendar you connected. A surgery, a hospital round, a family event. Anything in that time takes the slot off your booking page. Normal things like clinic hours and lunch are set once in your settings. Those do not need a calendar entry at all.
Which calendar does it use if I have several?
You pick one calendar when you connect your Google account. Most doctors pick the one that already holds their surgeries and rounds. That is the calendar with the clashes in it.
Do walk-ins and phone bookings show on my Google Calendar too?
Yes. However the appointment got into the queue — online, walk-in, phone or WhatsApp — it lands on the calendar the same way.
Can I use FormAlert without connecting Google Calendar?
