After sign-up you land in a short wizard. Have these ready:
Business name & phone number
Your name appears on the booking page and in every WhatsApp to patients. Your phone number receives booking alerts.
Google Business review link
Your Google review URL (format: https://g.page/r/…/review). FormAlert sends this to patients after every completed visit. Get it from business.google.com → Ask for reviews.
Razorpay API keysoptional
Only if you want payments collected automatically at booking. Sign up at razorpay.com and get your Key ID + Key Secret.
UPI IDoptional
Only if you prefer patients to pay via UPI. Use the address from your bank app.
Business details
Enter your practice name, phone number, and Google review link.
First provider and service
Provider name and designation — e.g. Dr. Sharma, General Physician.
Service name — e.g. General Consultation.
Duration and price — how long each slot lasts, and the fee (or free).
Service type — Offline (in-person visit) or Online (Google Meet auto-created, payment collected at booking).
Schedule
Select working days (e.g. Monday–Saturday).
Add time blocks per day (e.g. 9 am–1 pm and 2 pm–6 pm).
Click Finish — your booking page is now live.
Copy your booking link from Share in the dashboard. Add it in as many places as possible — each one is a new channel for patients to find you.
On your practice website
Replace the generic contact form with the FormAlert booking form, or add the link as a “Book Appointment” button.
Google Business Profile
Go to business.google.com → Edit profile → Add booking link. Patients searching on Google see a “Book” button directly on your listing.
Instagram bio
Paste the link in your bio. Patients who find you on Instagram can book instantly.
WhatsApp status
Pin your booking link to your WhatsApp status so existing patients always have it.
QR code at reception
Print the QR code from Share and display it at your front desk. Patients scan and book their next visit before they leave.
Go to Payments in the dashboard. Choose one mode:
Go to Settings → Team. Enter an email address and choose a role:
Go to Schedule, open a provider, and click Connect Google Calendar. This keeps your FormAlert availability in sync with your Google Calendar — any block you add in Google (a meeting, a leave) automatically removes that slot from your booking page.
Before going live, book a test appointment using your own phone number to confirm the full flow works.
Open your booking link and book a slot with your own phone number.
Check that you receive the WhatsApp booking alert on your practice phone.
Confirm the appointment from the dashboard — the patient (your test number) should receive the welcome message with token and wait time.
Mark the appointment as Complete — confirm the Google review request arrives on WhatsApp.
You're live
Patient books online → you get a WhatsApp alert → you accept → patient gets welcome message with token & wait time
Walk-in or phone call added from dashboard → patient gets welcome message with token & wait time instantly
Future appointments → reminders at 24h and 2h before (Business plan)
Consultation marked complete → review request sent to patient on WhatsApp → Google rating grows
