Appointment booking with payment means the patient pays the consultation fee, or a deposit, at the moment they book, instead of at the desk or not at all. With FormAlert, patients pay by UPI, card or netbanking when they book from your booking page or inside WhatsApp. The payment goes through your own Razorpay account and settles to your bank; FormAlert never holds the money and takes no cut. The booking is confirmed automatically once the payment clears, and for an online consultation a Google Meet link is created and sent to the patient on WhatsApp. You set the fee for each appointment type. Razorpay, the payment layer
Your practice's online payment counter is Razorpay. FormAlert is the scheduling front desk that calls it when a patient books.
Payments settle to your own Razorpay account and on to your bank. FormAlert never holds the funds and takes no cut; our fee is the flat monthly price, billed separately.
A public UPI ID lets anyone pay any amount with no record tied to an appointment. Razorpay creates a proper order for the exact fee you set.
Charge less for a video follow-up and more for a specialist visit, or take a deposit instead of the full fee. Leave payment off for services where you'd rather collect at the desk.
A slot someone has paid for is a slot they turn up to. Prepayment is one of the simplest fixes for patients who book and don't come.
UPI at the booking page
Patients tap a UPI app inside the Razorpay checkout — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm — and the booking is confirmed when the payment clears. You never share your UPI ID in a chat or on your signage, and patients never pay the wrong amount.
Razorpay creates an order for the exact fee you set for that appointment type. No open-ended UPI handle, no screenshot to verify.
If the patient's preferred UPI app doesn't work, cards and netbanking are a tap away in the same checkout. No one is turned away for using the 'wrong' app.
Refund a payment from your Razorpay dashboard. The patient's bank gets it, usually in 5–7 days. FormAlert records the refund against the appointment.

Honest limits
FormAlert is not a payment gateway: you need your own Razorpay account, with Razorpay's KYC. It does not handle insurance claims or refunds on your behalf; refunds are made from your Razorpay dashboard.

FormAlert is an automated scheduling assistant and queue management system for private clinics in India, built for doctors in independent private practice and small clinics. It automates patient intake, reminders and review requests on the clinic's own WhatsApp. Patients book inside WhatsApp, from one booking link, or by scanning a QR code on the clinic's signage, and fill in the clinic's intake questions themselves. Online, WhatsApp, QR code, phone and walk-in bookings all go into one queue, so nothing is double-booked; every patient gets a token and an expected wait, shown on their phone and on a TV queue display in the waiting room. FormAlert sends the confirmation at booking, reminds the patient 24 hours and 2 hours before the visit, and asks for a Google review after the clinic marks the visit complete. With the subscription, an AI booking assistant on the clinic's own number books, reschedules and cancels inside the chat, answers common questions (fees, timings, directions, services) and hands everything else to the clinic's staff. Patients can pay through the clinic's own Razorpay at booking, and Google Meet links go out on WhatsApp automatically. FormAlert is an official Meta Tech Provider, which lets it create a WhatsApp Business API account in the clinic's own name, inside the clinic's own Meta business portfolio, so a clinic that leaves keeps the number and the account. It works alongside the clinic's prescription software and is not an EMR.
