Connect your WhatsApp Business number to FormAlert
FormAlert connects your clinic's WhatsApp Business number, so bookings, confirmations, reminders and review requests come from your own number — and patients can book inside the chat. You keep the number and the WhatsApp Business app.
Which option should I choose?

Connect your number

Open WhatsApp Setup
In Settings, open "WhatsApp Setup".

Press "Set up with Facebook"
A box opens asking how you want to connect.

Choose your number
Pick "Onboard a WhatsApp Business number" to connect the number already on your WhatsApp Business app, or "Onboard a new number" for a number that isn't on WhatsApp yet.

Sign in to Facebook and follow Meta's steps
Log in with the Facebook account that runs your clinic's Meta business portfolio, choose the portfolio and your number.

Scan the QR code (WhatsApp Business app numbers only)
Meta shows a QR code. On your phone, open the WhatsApp Business app and scan it to link the number.

Wait for the green ticks
Back in FormAlert, the checklist shows Connected → Registered → Verified. Then press "Set up messages" so your message templates are sent to Meta for approval.
Before your number is connected
You don't have to wait. Until your number is live, FormAlert sends confirmations, reminders and review requests from FormAlert's shared WhatsApp number. The WhatsApp Setup page shows "FormAlert's number" and how many credits you have left. Each message from the shared number uses one credit.
After it's connected
- Patients see your clinic's name and number on every message.
- Meta bills you directly for messages, at Meta's own rate. FormAlert adds nothing.
- The WhatsApp inbox appears in FormAlert's sidebar.
- You can turn on WhatsApp booking.
