Simple how-to guides for FormAlert
Plain steps for the things you'll actually do — no jargon. Read the whole thing before you sign up, if you like.
Reference
Work down each list in order. Most problems are one of the first two items.
Check the Dashboard header — if it says Closed, click Open.
Look for a yellow banner saying the booking system isn't active. That means a provider has no services yet — add one under Settings → Team Schedule.
Confirm the service has working hours set. A service with no days turned on shows no slots.
Check your Booking window in Settings. If it's set to 1 day, patients can only book tomorrow.
If you're on a trial that expired, booking is switched off until you subscribe.
That provider's Google Calendar may be blocking them — existing events hide those slots by design.
Check Team Schedule for a reconnect prompt. An expired token stops sync.
Check the service's working hours — hours are set per service, not per provider.
Check your buffer setting. A large buffer on a short slot duration can eat most of the day.
Check your credit balance on the Dashboard. Red means zero, and everything stops. Top up.
Check the toggle for that message type under Settings → WhatsApp Setup — it may be switched off.
Confirm the message is on your plan. Reminders are Business-only.
If you're trying to send free-form text, check the window. Amber means closed — send a template instead.
On your own number, check your template status. A Rejected template won't send until you fix and resubmit it.
Verify the patient's phone number has WhatsApp on it.
Check the phone number in Settings → Business profile. Onboarding often pulls a landline from your Google listing.
Confirm that number has WhatsApp active on it.
Check the Doctor alert toggle under Settings → WhatsApp Setup.
Check your credit balance.
Open Settings → Payments and check the status bar reads Connected.
Check the mode tag says Live, not Test. Test keys move no real money.
Check that your Razorpay KYC is complete and the account is active.
Confirm formalert.in is approved as a domain in your Razorpay dashboard.
Go to Settings → Team Schedule and look for a reconnect prompt on the provider.
Disconnect and reconnect that provider's Google account.
Make sure you granted both read and write calendar permission during sign-in.
Each provider connects their own calendar — connecting yours doesn't cover the rest of the team.
FormAlert sends the messages tied to an appointment automatically, but it never answers a patient's question — there's no chatbot in the product. Somebody on your team has to open the conversation and reply.
Open the WhatsApp inbox and look for unread markers.
On the Business plan, use Assign so each conversation has an owner instead of everyone assuming somebody else has it.
Filter the list by Unassigned to find conversations nobody has picked up.
The 24-hour window has closed. WhatsApp, not FormAlert, blocks free-form messages outside it.
Use Start Booking Flow from the conversation menu — it goes out as an approved template even on a closed window.
When the patient replies, the window reopens and you can type freely again.
Connect your Google Business Profile on the Reviews page if you haven't.
The page shows a handful of recent reviews from Google, not everything you've ever received.
New reviews take time to surface — Google controls that, not FormAlert.
Check your Google review link is saved in Settings. Without it, requests go out pointing nowhere.
Go to Settings → Plan Details and use Find previous subscriptionto re-sync from Razorpay. That resolves most mismatches without support.
WhatsApp +91-7002616393 or email adityakd@formalert.in. Include your clinic name and, if it's about one booking, the patient's phone number — it makes the answer much faster.
